Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all my fans! We had a holiday concert at school--I got to play the jingle bells and wore a snowman hat. I also danced like a dreidel and stomped along to "Frosty the Snowman." We rocked out!
My two favorite presents are my kitchen (I'm making breakfast for Mommy and Daddy in the picture) and my basketball hoop! I can't wait to shoot like Kobe.
I also went on several adventures over break--the Brandywine Museum (where I got to see choo-choos....LOTS AND LOTS of choo-choos, which I LOVE), the Please Touch Museum (where I had a meltdown because I just wanted to play with CHOO-CHOOS), and my cousin Michele's sweet 16 (where there were no choo-choos, but lots of older women!)

A budding filmographer...?

Here I am playing with Pop-Pop's tripod on Thanksgiving. I think I might have a future in film, don't you agree?

We had a party at school for Thanksgiving--my teachers set up a nice table with all kinds of treats, and I had a feast with my friends. Then on the actual day, Mommy and Daddy made a real feast! Grandmom, Pop-Pop and Aunt Rosie came over. We stuffed our faces! I wasn't really interested in the turkey--but I loved the rolls. I had four of them!

I say lots of words now...but it makes Mommy and Daddy happiest when I say "Pwease" and "Dank Ooo"!

Happy Halloween!!!

I celebrated my second Halloween as Tigger. It was so much fun. Mommy dressed as a beauty queen/politician and daddy wore a lot of gold necklaces and a funny hat. At school I marched in the Halloween Parade with my friends. That was a lot of work. Our teacher Ms. Bernadette had us practice marching all week long.

At home I played with my friends on the block and ate pizza. Mommy and Daddy took me around to visit neighbors and they kept putting things in the pumpkin bag that Grammie gave me. I ate so much pizza and I was full...so I gave it back to them. Daddy seemed sad when I gave away the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - he really wanted me to keep them.

Into the Wild!

...or at least Ridley Creek State Park. We went for a hike a few weeks ago, but as you can see, I made Daddy do all the hard work!

I'm taking tumbling classes now every Saturday. We go through an obstacle course, throw balls through a hoop (my favorite), sing songs, and learn to roll down a slide. It's quite the workout!

I'm learning so much at school these days. Right now we're learning how red and blue make purple. I have the purple fingernails to prove it. We also had a whole unit on...BANANAS! However, I am eating apples as well these days (see above). Maybe I'll try some veggies next...but Mommy's not holding her breath!

Back to School...

Two big milestones this past week! First, I had my very last bottle. I was just having one at bedtime anyway, since I like my sippy cups and straws much better. Mommy was a little sad giving me my last bottle...I told her to get over it. It's not like I'm leaving for college--yet!

I also went back to "school" this week! Here I am sharing snacks with my friend Claire. She was in my class last year--but we were both a lot smaller! So far this week, we've gone for buggy rides, played on the football field, made art, and learned about food. I'm so happy to be back with my buddies...Mom and Dad are cool, but man, am I sick of their faces! ;)

Blue Ridge Baby!

Hi guys! I had a super-fun week. Mommy and Daddy took me to the place where they met 10 years ago...I wasn't even a glimmer yet! I made lots of friends and tried really hard to play basketball with the big boys...but they wouldn't pass to me. :(
I also visited some of my friends from daycare, and on Friday I went to the zoo with my cousin Jack! We saw all kinds of cool animals--but I was really more interested in the soda bottle Mommy let me play with.
We also went to Auntie Jenn's house for her "birfday" (that's how we say it down here.) We had Pica's pizza, yummy chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks--my favorite! (I do NOT like veggies or fruit these days--except bananas. I call them "badadas." Mommy calls me her little monkey because I eat them so much!) There were 2 other babies at the party, so we had fun stomping around and sliding down the steps.
I'm really enjoying these last few weeks of summer. It's been so fun having Mommy and Daddy around, but I'm excited to see how big my friends have grown over the summer.

Marley & Me

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Here I am with Auntie Gwen & Uncle James' big doggie, Marley. I love him so much! He let me climb all over him this weekend, and give him lots of pets and kisses.
I had a very fun 4th of July. My little cousin Kate came down from Massachusetts, and I tried teaching her how to walk. My Pop-Pop was also visiting from his summer job in Virginia, and I was so happy to see him. He brought me a little Marine Corps bib, and I feel very tough when I wear it.
We went to an ice cream festival at Penn's Landing on Saturday--and I've decided that I like ice cream now, a lot!
Hopefully next year I can stay awake for the fireworks. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will even let me hold a sparkler!
